GlassPoint has a proven track record of delivering commercial scale projects in multiple locations throughout the world.

GlassPoint’s first enclosed trough system was installed in 2011 in California. This was quickly followed in 2012, by a 7 MW system delivering steam in commercial quantities at Amal in Oman. The project was delivered on time and on budget, leading to the award of a contract to build Miraah a 2,000 tons of steam per day-system producing peak power of over 330MW. Miraah became operational in 2018 and continues to operate every day.
